About the Store
Located in Kingston's 'The Bentall Centre', Essential Kingston was opened in 2007. The Bentall Centre approached Essential in the early years of the business but, due to high rents, the business was not ready for this move. Later on, there was a failed attempt to open in Kingston after the unit was snapped up by a coffee shop, that subsequently closed just a year later. Eventually, we got there and have been in the same unit ever since. Managers from all the stores helped merchandise the new unit to open in just 3 days. In 2024, we moved unit to the Ground Floor and opened our brand new store in May, complete with our new branding!
The store has built a loyal customer base who continually return to a treasure trove of items, perfect for gifting to loved ones or for treating yourself.
