Gold Plated Sterling Silver Care: You should not use any jewellery cleaning products on gold plating. To keep gold plated jewellery in the best condition, wipe after each wear with a soft cloth to remove any surface oil or dirt. Do not use a silver polishing cloth as this has cleaner embedded into the cloth. Keep gold plated jewellery away from chemicals such as cleaning products and chlorine. Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are not appropriate for gold plated jewellery and are likely to alter the appearance of your jewellery. We always recommend keeping your jewellery in a separate pouch away from other jewellery to avoid scratching
