Sterling Silver and Paua Shell Pebble Pendant

This gorgeous sterling silver pendant will add some statement wow factor to whatever you are wearing. It features four separate paua shell shapes held in formation by sterling silver loops (which gives a flexible element to the design). The paua shell has been set in a vibrant peacock blue resin, which not only enhances the beautiful natural blue/green colouring of the shell, but also adds a strength. This pendant has a fabulous large bale so can be worn on thick or thin chains of any length, torques or omega necklaces.

Buying for someone special? Our products come wrapped together in tissue as standard. This is to reduce packaging waste and keep prices low by not including the cost of packaging in our prices, but we appreciate the need for it when giving as a gift.

Sterling Silver Care:

To keep this item in best condition when it is not being worn: store away from air, preferably in a plastic bag or wrapped in acid free tissue. Should a surface layer of tarnish appear, simply polish off using an ESSENTIAL polishing cloth. For a deeper clean, soak the piece in warm water and mild soap for a few minutes before wiping dry with a soft cloth. Ensure all soap product is rinsed off thoroughly to avoid any residue being left on the silver. Avoid contact with chemicals such as household cleaning products. Ensure any body lotions/perfume are fully absorbed by the skin before wearing jewellery. Sterling silver jewellery should not be worn in chlorinated water. Silver should not be subjected to sudden changes in heat and so we do not recommend wearing your jewellery in Jacuzzis, saunas or steam rooms.

Gemstone Care:

Paua Shell, otherwise known as ‘Abalone’ has a beautiful lustre to it. In order to keep your paua shell in the best condition there are a few simple steps to follow. Do not expose your paua shell to any chemicals such as cleaning products, harsh soaps, chlorine or perfume. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight as this can cause the colour of the paua shell to fade. Keep your paua shell separate to your other jewellery when storing to avoid scratching. To clean your paua shell, wipe the shell with a slightly damp cloth to remove any surface oils or debris. DO NOT use silver cleaning fluid or ultrasonic cleaners as these will likely damage your paua shell.
